Microsoft will release another version of Windows 10 in late May. This new model of Windows as a service, means Microsoft will be pushing out changes to the operating system twice a year. These changes will allow for improved operating system security and ultimately offer more security choices to schools and businesses.
The release of Windows 10 2004, this May includes several new security features:
- password-less authentication,
- chromium-based edge
Password-less technology lets you use the biometric security system to sign on. Known as Windows Hello it will enable users to login with their face, iris, fingerprint, or a PIN. This is dependent on each device.
As well as other under the hood improvements some much needed optimization of the windows updating procedure which allows you more control. Deploying Windows 10 is becoming extremely fast, improved its now widely available Chromium based Edge browser, and made updates more dependable, hence taking less time.
